Hospice Registered Nurse opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!!

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a Hospice RN position. The Hospice Registered Nurse provides nursing care and case management for assigned patients in their place of residence; coordinates and integrates services through a team approach to ensure continuity of care; and uses the nursing process of assessment, planning and implementation of care, including patient/family instruction and evaluation, while meeting productivity standards established for the position

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Licensure/Certifications: current state licensure in the State of Montana as a Registered Nurse and current CPR/BCLS certification.

+ Language Skills: full command of verbal and written communication skills, ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

+ Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to relate well to staff and other professionals.

+ Experience as an RN commensurate with one of the following: one year acute care nursing within the last two years, one year home health care experience within the last two years, one year community health or public health experience within the last two years, or one year hospice experience within the last two years.

+ Requirements: Current health certificate/physical examination and TB testing, valid state driver’s license, current automobile insurance and reliable automobile.

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week
