Shift

1stShift/ 7am-3:30pm / Monday-Friday -Additional days or overtime as required to complete the daily demands

Main Purpose

Responsible for the planning and scheduling of all mechanical and electrical work to buildings, production equipment and plant operation support systems.

Essential Duties

+ Comply with all safety & GMP regulations & support the production of safe, high-quality products.

+ Follows all company rules, policies and procedures.

+ Outlines in detail, all maintenance work after a work order request is made.

+ Investigates work request for feasibility and efficient labor utilization.

+ Plans, priorities and schedules work assignments for each department employee.

+ Reviews daily work orders to compare with summary sheet for completeness and work order closure. Notifies supervision of any discrepancies

+ Reprioritizes and schedules work assignments for each shift team member as necessary to maintain a full workload for all hours worked.

+ Establishes, updates and maintains labor time standards for each work order.

+ Coordinates work with affected departments and outside vendors.

+ Determines materials, tools, equipment and availability.

+ Prepares requisitions for parts required to complete work orders.

+ Maintains a current backlog of preventive and routine maintenance work orders.

+ Updates or modifies CMMS (Megamation) to coordinate work including adding equipment and related data. Insures current and accurate work order data including updating PM frequencies and procedures.

+ Provides accurate, updated work order information for the daily/monthly maintenance performance reporting/charts.

+ Maintains membership and training in the company emergency response team as outlined by OSHA, 29 CFR 1910.120

+ Provides leadership in World Class Maintenance Methods (Preventative Maintenance Optimization, Total Production Maintenance, etc.)

+ Attends the Monday Production planning meetings and 2 :30 pm shift change meetings to identify changes to the weekly/weekend plans.

+ Notifies supervision or management of any overtime situation that requires the force of a team member either in person or over the phone by the supervisor or management.

+ Monitors Maintenance Technicians’ progress with daily scheduled work and provide technical advisement as necessary.

+ Complete additional CMMS tasks as directed by Maintenance Facilitator

Requirements

+ High School or equivalency diploma.

+ Associates degree in technical field or 3 years’ industrial maintenance experience.

+ Demonstrated computer and keyboard skills in Microsoft Office.

+ Strong organizational and planning skills.

+ At least one year’s experience in utilizing a computer database.

+ Good Communication Skills

+ CMMS experience a plus.

+ Able to work flexible hours and weekends.

Pay: Base Rate: $29.15/hour - $32.38/hour
