    Faculty Qualifications:

    + Candidates must have completed at least 18 graduate credit hours in media production, media studies, creative media, journalism, or a closely related field of study by the date of the appointment. Per TTU OP 32.36, “outstanding professional experience and demonstrated contributions to the teaching discipline may be presented on an exceptional basis in lieu of formal academic preparation.”

    + Candidates must have at least five years of professional experience in media production, media studies, creative media, journalism, or a closely related field.

    + Candidates should demonstrate evidence of, or a potential for, teaching excellence at the undergraduate level.

    + Residence in Texas.
