Network Engineer Architect

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Engineer Architect to join our team in Stafford Virginia.
This position will assist Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) and Deputy Commandant Information ICD 705 Task Force (TF) leadership plan, design, install, and maintain networks across multiple security domains for ICD 705 Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facilities (SCIFs) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ In direct support of MCWL Program and Task Force Staff, work closely across multiple locations and with local Site Security Manager (SSM)/Special Security Representative (SSR) and Information Systems Security Managers (ISSMs) to plan and oversee the installations and operations of systems across multiple security domains and in accordance with policies, directives, and best practices.
+ Design/Architect supporting collateral, SCI, and SAP networks - both “inside plant” and “outside plant.”
+ Understand multiple networks across several security domains and bring them into a working environment.
+ Work across IT core areas - Network Design; Network Engineering; Computer System Engineering; Computer System Services; Data Management Services; Modeling, Analysis and Simulation; Professional Support Services; Test, Analysis and Evaluation; and Systems Integration.
+ Advises Program leadership and assist on-site ISSOs to establish and satisfies complex system-wide information security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
+ Support receiving Marine Corps units in the development and implementation of network/IA doctrine and policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and at least 10+ years’ experience operating within or constructing ICD 705 facilities.
+ DoD 8570 IAT II (Security +).
+ Ability to draft network diagrams and IT rack elevations.
+ Ability to perform 10% international travel (e.g., Japan)
+ Experience with MS Word, MS Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in information systems
+ Experience with ICD 705 SCIF/SAPF systems and network requirements
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must hold a current active TS/SCI clearance
Physical Requirements:
+ Work both inside in office environment as well as on-location at sites under construction. Walk (with personal protective equipment) to observe and lead network infrastructure installation and activation. Environment will transition to a structure under construction and then an environmentally controlled facility.
