    Support students with behavioral challenges by implementing intervention plans and fostering a positive, safe learning environment. Bettendorf Community School District seeks compassionate and skilled individuals to work alongside special education staff and administrators at the elementary school level.

     

    Position:Behavior Interventionist (Paraeducator) – Elementary

     

    Hours:Up to 5.75 hours/day

     

    Rate of Pay:$19.02/hour

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Ability to implement behavior plans and maintain consistent expectations

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    + Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately to challenging behavior

    + Flexibility and adaptability to meet student needs

    + Prior experience with students with behavioral or emotional disabilities preferred

    + CPI training or willingness to obtain preferred
