    UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA seeks multiple Software Engineers, Senior to serve as part of UPMC Enterprises’ Health Plan IT Consumer Technology Application Engineering group. Be responsible for the architecture, design, deployment, and maintenance of Third-Party Administrator (TPA) portals within the UPMC Health Plan. Leverage knowledge of Microsoft C#, .NET Core, Web API, WCF/ROC, TSQL, DB2 SQL, Pl SQL, and related technologies to aid application development. Develop and enhance technical solutions to meet UPMC business and customer requirements. Integrate, enhance, test, document and maintain TPA portals. Assist with troubleshooting across multiple teams and both new and legacy platforms. Review and validate secure processes and protocols. Define system- and module-level engineering requirements. Review and modify underlying code. Ensure system design and integration comply with enterprise-wide technology requirements, platform architecture standards, and defined project specifications. Review new code before it is implemented into existing applications and software. Perform regression testing, user acceptance testing, and functional testing to assess performance standards of application systems. Create build scripts, set up build environments, and write automation scripts for deploying the applications into test environments. Recommend measures for troubleshooting and debugging existing applications, implementing legacy-new software integrations, and developing roadmaps for code, system, and application development.

    Job Responsibilities: (please list specific job responsibilities)

    + Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field

    + Plus five (5) years of software engineering, application development, or related experience:

    o building new and maintaining existing web application features;

    o developing enhancements to existing software from requirements;

    o validating and scoping data models in the database;

    o performing regression testing, user acceptance testing, and functional testing;

    o using synchronization techniques to perform multithreaded programming;

    o completing database migrations;

    o performing production implementation validation;

    o creating and modifying database migrations;

    o working in all phases of the SDLC from requirement analysis to debugging production issues;

    o utilizing .Net Framework, HTML, SQL Server, Visual Studio, CSS, and IIS:
