    Your Responsibilities:

    We are seeking candidates for a Property Manager to support our portfolio of residential properties in Dorchester and Roxbury, MA. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

     

    + Oversight of the day-to-day operations and supervision of staff alongside the Senior Property Manager.

    + Ensuring sites are ready to pass audits from the city, investors, and subsidy agencies.

    + Processing bills and ensuring timely payments.

    + Rent collections and lease enforcement.

    + Subsidy deposits.

    + Processing rent increases.

    + Reviewing monthly financials and completing variance reports.

    + Resolving resident concerns.

    You will also support the Occupancy Department by assisting with:

    + Processing applications, maintaining waitlists, and leasing available units.

    + Performing recertification interviews and calculations.

    + Management of the EIV system and ensuring households remain in compliance with affordable housing programs.

     

    The work hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday. Your workweek will be split between properties in Dorchester and Roxbury. Some travel between sites will be required.

    Your Qualifications:

    We are looking for someone with great communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy to join our management team.

     

    + Two or more years of experience at the Property Manager level, or equivalent, is required for consideration in this position.

    + Previous experience in LIHTC and Section 8 program administration is also required.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required. Experience with Yardi would be a plus.

    + COS, CPO, C3P, or equivalent certification is preferred.

    + Bilingual Spanish/English would be a plus.

    + A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
