    Budget Title: Instructional Support Associate (SL-2)

     

    Salary: $50,739 - $54,000

     

    The Department of Biological Sciences at Binghamton University (http://www.binghamton.edu/biology/) is seeking candidates for a full-time position as Instructional Support Associate, beginning Fall 2025.

    Duties include:

    + Assisting with teaching Anatomy and Physiology laboratory sections (including evening labs)

    + Weekly grading for laboratory courses in Anatomy and Physiology

    + Ordering supplies and equipment for Anatomy and Physiology lab

    + Setting up and maintaining the instruments and equipment used for the Anatomy and Physiology labs

    + Preparing materials such as solutions and specimens to be used in the Anatomy and Physiology labs

    + Attending weekly meetings for the Anatomy and Physiology labs

    + Contributing to review of specific procedures and techniques related to each week's laboratory experiments

    Job Requirements:

    + Bachelor of Science (B.S.), or higher, in biology or a related field

    + Work experience or training in anatomy and physiology at the college level

    + Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills

    + Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals

    Preferred:

    + Master's degree (or higher)

    + Experience assisting in teaching laboratory courses

    + Supervisory experience

    + Familiar with alternative and innovative instructional methods
