    At DMU you will make a meaningful contribution to the dynamic future of Medicine and Health Sciences. DMU is seeking an Academic Records Coordinator who supports students and alumni by maintaining and providing accurate academic and enrollment records. Respond to all student and alumni requests including credentialing verification and transcript requests. Acts as liaison between students, deans, application services, board examiners and the National Student Clearinghouse.

    What you’ll do:

    + Main point of contact for all internal and external requests. Respond to requests by answering registrar phone line, reply to registrar office email inquiries, and process all incoming mail.

    + Provide student and alumni assistance with, but not limited to: name and/or address changes, registration, transcript requests, deferment forms, technical assistance, and enrollment / graduation verification

    + Maintain student records and ensure compliance with records retention policies.

    + Coordinate and respond to requests from the NRMP, NBOME, NBME and AOA.

    + Manage student registration checklist

    + Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to students

    What we are looking for:

    + Minimum bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) plus three years relevant experience in higher education support services required.

    + Must possess a current Notary Public commission or be able to obtain one within six (6) months of employment.
