Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Front End/UIE Responsibilities:

1. Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test mobile and desktop web software applications and systems.

2. Optimize performance and reliability of user-facing products.

3. Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.

4. Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.

5. Design technical features independently.

6. Work on problems of medium to large scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

7. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

8. Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

9. Requires completion of a university-level course/research project/internship thesis in the following:

10. 1. Create consumer products and features using server-side languages like the internal programming language, Hack

11. 2. Front end development of mobile and desktop applications using React and React Native

12. 3. Work closely with product manager and design functions to define feature specifications and build the next generation of enterprise products

13. 4. In depth knowledge of computer networks and protocols such as SMTP

14. 5. Experience in AI scripting in Python or kernel languages

15. 6. Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance

16. 7. Design, develop, and modify experiments to test and measure product success

17. 8. Data visualization and modeling

18. 9. Build report interfaces and data feeds

19. 10. Designing technical systems with UML diagrams and documentation

20. 11. Experience in agile development process

21. 12. Backend development with GraphQL and basic CRUD Operations

22. 13. Thorough testing of javascript based front end applications using methods such as snapshot or e2e testing, AND

23. 14. Database operations and queries using SQL and GraphQL

Public Compensation:

$214,032/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
