Job Description

A Fortune 100 employer in the Financial Services industry is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join its team. The Developer's primary focus will be developing frontend components and newer features, along with solving complex application development tasks and supporting existing development using React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and more technologies. They will be part of ongoing efforts to build responsive and interactive UIs that improve the user experience with clean, efficient, and maintainable code. As part of a SAFe agile scrum team, they will be coordinating with users, test, and functional analysts to determine requirements and ensure the system improvements are successfully implemented and continuously deployed. Additionally, they will be converting designs and wireframes into code, reviewing code to ensure quality and consistency, and troubleshooting and debugging issues in and before production.

Compensation:

$70-80/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

9+ Years of experience as an Engineer

5+ Years of experience with React, JavaScript Frameworks, HTML5, CSS3

Experience with functional components

Strong experience with Redux, Context and local state management

Experience with React Hooks

Expertise with external packages like Bootstrap

Strong experience with React testing library

Expertise with integrating RESTful APIs

Experience with JSON, Web Service technologies, and fundamentals

Experience optimizing code for performance to ensure faster loading time and smooth user experiences

Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms

Experience using version controls like Git, and tools like Jira for Agile

Desire for growth and to grow into a leadership position null
