Job Description:

The Manager of System Biomedical oversees the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) Biomedical department operations throughout the organization. This individual is responsible for the Medical Equipment Management Plan to meet accreditation requirements for both in-patient and out-patient programs. The Manager of System Biomedical supervises biomedical technicians and support staff. This individual participates in pre-purchase evaluation, service contract management, medical device incident risk evaluation and safety committee duties. The Manager of System Biomedical is responsible for efficient cost control of department budget and acts as a resource to departments and staff regarding biomedical equipment questions.

This Manager role will over see the Eastern half of our Wisconsin service area. To include Stevens Point, Weston, Minocqua, Park Falls, and Dickinson locations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._

**Minimum Required:** Associates degree in Biomedical Electronics or related field.

**Preferred/Optional:** Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Electronics or related field.

EXPERIENCE

**Minimum Required:** Seven years of Clinical Biomedical experience. Demonstrated leadership ability.

**Preferred/Optional:** Five years as a supervisor or manager in a Clinical Biomedical setting.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

_The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._

**Minimum Required:** State of Wisconsin valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

**Preferred/Optional:** ICC Biomedical Equipment Technician Certification (CBET)
