    • What You’ll Do:

    As a Respiratory Therapist at UPMC, you’ll:

    + Deliver advanced respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions

    + Work in diverse settings including the **OR, ED, Cath Lab, Recovery, and Transport**

    + Perform specialized procedures such as **bronchoscopy, ABG analysis, pulmonary function testing, EEG, EKG, and more**

    + Respond to **code situations** and assist in transporting ventilated patients

    + Serve as a **mentor and resource** to students and fellow staff

    • Qualifications:

    + Graduate of a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program

    + Current licensure and certifications as required

    + Strong clinical judgment and a passion for patient-centered car

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    + Osteopathic Respiratory Care OR Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP)

    + Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

    + Act 33 with renewal

    + Act 34 with renewal

    + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
