    Overview

    THE ROLE:

    The Manager, Quality Systems and Compliance will work onsite at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in Winston-Salem. Will be responsible for leading the QS&S (Quality Systems and Services) activities. Will work with cross-functional teams and global support functions to build and maintain Quality and Technical Services infrastructure globally.

    HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

    + Leadership

    a. Implement strategic plans aligned with business goals.

    b. Develop and lead the deployment of systems and infrastructure to support Quality Control and Assurance, Technical Services and Operations functions.

    c. Ensure compliance with regulatory/quality requirements, third party certifications, and Herbalife standards.

    d. Identify, evaluate, implement automation solutions and systems to enhance operational efficiency

    e. Act as a catalyst and champion best-in-class industry practices, programs and technologies.

    + Data Analytics and Continuous Improvement

    a. Lead development of business intelligence dashboards to translate big data to business insights and drive continuous improvement activities.

    b. Establish, track and analyze key performance metrics to drive process improvements

    c. Apply lean principles to help drive performance and optimization within the department.

    + Team and Resource Management

    a. Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team.

    b. Ensure teams have the necessary resources, tools and training for success.

    c. Oversee all stages of the project management, including discovery, scoping, requirement gathering, resource planning, scheduling, delivery, tracking ROIs.

    + Cross-functional Collaboration and Customer Focus

    a. Support operational sites in implementing quality strategies and defining standards essential to achieving operational excellence.

    b. Act as a resource for problem identification and resolution, and supporting operational excellence and QbD initiatives.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Supervise 5-10 Quality systems analysts, specialists, and administrators

    Qualifications

    SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    Skills:

    + Proven ability to lead key projects across multiple site disciplines , successfully manage multiple, concurrent projects, and work with global teams across multiple time zones.

    + Proven ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization.

    + Ability to convert analysis into insights and execute strategies for improvement.

    + Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and support others through a culture of inclusion, feedback, and empowerment.

    + Knowledge of FDA, EU, and global GMP's including 21 CFR Part 11, and EU cGMP Annex 11.

    + Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

    + Exhibits commit to innovation and continuous improvement.

    + Strong project management skills.

    + Strong knowledge of GMP.

    Experience:

    + Minimum of 7 years industry related experience

    + Experience in deploying large-scale Quality systems and infrastructure

    + Experience in lean/six sigma

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or IT, or equivalent
