    Summary of Position: Performs ultrasound examinations including duplex sonography for venous examinations under the direction of Radiologist. Utilizing independent judgement and rendering images to Radiologist. Participates in student teaching.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for following policies and procedures for Medical Imaging department.

    + Experience in abdominal,ob/gyn, small parts, venous doppler ultrasound.

    + Knowledgeable in the use of ultrasound equipment including range of transducers.

    + Completes all competencies each year along with providing great customer service.

     

    Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound. ARDMS or eligible, BLS certification as per requirements for Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Must be registered in at least one specialty area within first year of employment.

     

    Salary Range: $36.86 - $60.51 Pay Grade: 36 Compensation may vary based upon, but not limited to: overall experience and qualifications, shift, and location.
