    About the Role:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in physical therapy or rehabilitation.

    + Certification in CPR and First Aid.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient sessions.

    + Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks as directed by the physical therapist.

    + Manage patient registration and ensure accurate documentation in electronic medical records.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including treatment rooms and waiting areas.

    + Provide excellent customer service at the front desk, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.

    Skills:

    The required skills such as ultrasound and exercise physiology are essential for assisting therapists in delivering effective treatment plans. Patient care skills are utilized daily to ensure that patients feel comfortable and supported during their rehabilitation process. Knowledge of electronic medical records is critical for maintaining accurate patient information and facilitating smooth communication within the healthcare team. Familiarity with medical terminology and neuroscience enhances the aide's ability to understand treatment protocols and patient needs.
