    At PDS Tech Commercial, the CNC Programmer/Operator plays a critical role in turning engineering designs into high-quality prototype and production parts. You’ll program and operate advanced CNC machinery, working closely with the Research & Development team to push the boundaries of product development. Your expertise ensures that every part meets exact specifications and fuels our innovation.

     

    **Pay Range** : $20–$40/hour

    **Schedule** : Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM

    What You’ll Do Every Day

    + Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering models to program CNC machines accurately

    + Collaborate with the R&D Shop Supervisor and Project Manager to develop machining programs tailored to project needs

    + Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently, producing quality parts for prototypes and production

    + Perform routine maintenance and equipment checks to ensure optimal machine performance

    + Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols

    + Communicate clearly with supervisors about daily production targets and any issues

    + Attend trainings and meetings to keep skills and certifications up to date

    + Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and empowerment within the team

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Required Qualifications:

    + 3-5 years of CNC programming and operation experience

    + Expert proficiency reading mechanical drawings and using drawing software such as SolidWorks and Mastercam

    + Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

    + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

    + Excellent communication skills

    + Commitment to workplace safety and company values

    + Flexibility to travel between locations as needed

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience working with diverse materials like wood, metal, plastic, adhesives, and wiring
