Product Designer Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch in partnership with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists.

2. Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 2+ billion users.

3. Design end-to-end flows and experiences that are simple and elegant for our supported platforms.

4. Craft designs within existing visual systems and/or standards.

5. Solicit and provide feedback from partners to continually improve the quality of our products through multiple iterations exploring a range of design options.

6. Build and ship applications or software at the level of whole features across a variety of platforms.

7. Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, Information, or a related field.

8. Requires completion of a university-level course, research project, or internship involving the following:

10. 2. Interaction design, including defining how an experience should behave based on understanding people’s needs

12. 4. Visual design, including typography, desktop or mobile user interface, color, layout, and iconography

13. 5. Understanding product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to internal and external users

14. 6. Creating user flow and mockups to articulate design concepts

15. 7. Defining product specifications and user experiences

16. 8. Understanding and interpreting user research and usability testing

17. 9. Conducting end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts and high-fidelity prototypes

18. 10. Building and shipping application or software at company-level scale

19. 11. Leading end to end design process across multiple projects including interaction and visual design artifacts, multiple iterations, and high-fidelity prototypes

20. 12. Developing product goals, identifying opportunities in a global market, and making strategic design decisions based on impact to the company

Public Compensation:

$172,172/year to $183,370/year + bonus + equity + benefits
