Summary:

Finance and Business Planning mission is to enable Meta to plan, prioritize, and execute as effectively as possible. We take a uniquely long-term view towards business problems. This role requires strategic thinking, building connections and influencing stakeholders through effective communication, an analytical mindset, and a bias towards action.This person will lead the finance support for the People function at Meta, working closely with People leadership. Our ideal candidate is a well-rounded top performer who can be a key contributor in a high-energy environment.

Required Skills:

Finance Manager, People Finance Responsibilities:

1. Create meaningful business partnerships with leadership within the People Organization including People Operations, Human Resources, and Benefits

2. Provide financial leadership across planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning

3. Provide hands-on analytic support and develop actionable insights and reporting that will influence key decision makers to allocate resources more effectively

4. Develop an expert-level understanding of cost drivers for both Operating Expenses and Headcount

5. Help define and implement scalable financial processes that make us and our business partners more efficient

6. Drive process improvements by partnering with upstream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management

Minimum Qualifications:

7. 10+ years of experience in finance related fields

8. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in business, finance, accounting, management or related field

9. Experience in financial planning and creating data-driven analysis

10. Proven track record of collaborating with leadership

11. Proven track record in evaluating business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, and proposing and implementing solutions

12. Proven experience tailoring messaging for audiences of varying level of seniority and technical expertise

13. Understanding of financial statement analysis and corporate finance concepts

14. Proven track record of building cross-functional relationships and partnering with executive leadership across organizations

15. Proven Excel and analytical skills to translate large amounts of data into both insights and recommendations

16. Management experience leading and developing teams

17. Experience supporting People or Human Resources organizations would be beneficial

18. Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle EPM

19. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

20. Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, management or related field

21. Experience with Oracle Essbase and SmartView Excel Plug-in

22. Dashboard creation/management experience (Tableau, Incorta, Cognos Analytics, etc.)

Public Compensation:

$142,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
