Required Skills:

Strategic Sourcing Manager Responsibilities:

1. Identify, develop, and deploy industry-leading supplier management, procurement, and category management practices.

2. Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across Meta to strategically develop, implement, and optimize outsourcing/sourcing and vendor management solutions including planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of projects.

3. Serve as Source-to-Pay business partner and category expert, addressing supply chain and supply market opportunities.

4. Identify, track, and manage issues and risks for the projects.

5. Prepare and manage sourcing documents, contracts, statements of work, and related procurement documents.

6. Drive legal, financial, and technological aspects of outsourced programs.

7. Lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company.

8. Balance business requirements versus technical constraints and maximize business benefits.

9. Establish collaborative relationships with Global Outsourcing/Sourcing Category Teams, Contract Management Teams, Procurement Operations Teams, and Procure-to-Pay to develop sound operational processes.

10. Ensure regional/local processes are aligned to Meta’s global operating model.

11. Understand and apply policies, standards and practices established for vendor management.

12. Build and cultivate strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Minimum Qualifications:

13. Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, or a related field, and 48 months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation

14. Requires 48 months of experience involving the following:

15. 1. Product or process definition, having taken a module or system from concept stage into mass production

16. 2. Hardware and systems engineering throughout product development process of technology products

17. 3. Optimization of technical specifications and features versus value tradeoffs

18. 4. Deployment of manufacturing processes to support complex technology solutions and

19. 5. Resolution of data-driven problems to address multi-dimensional practices and issues, with high levels of uncertainty across multiple functional teams

Public Compensation:

$209,097/year to $226,600/year + bonus + equity + benefits
