**Description:** Project Manager, F\-35 Sustainment PMO \- Level 4

Oversees and manages the operational aspects

of ongoing projects to improve F\-35 fleet readiness and serves as liaison between the program management office and relevant functional teams\. Serves as the responsible manager of projects aimed at improving fleet outcomes and exceeding contracted performance outcomes\.

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client\-satisfaction goals and objectives\.

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients\.

Basic Qualifications:

Sustainment experience supporting a defense contract

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products

to include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experience working with integrated master schedules and relevant scheduling tools \(Project, OpenPlan, etc\)

Desired Skills:

Strong coordination, integration, and communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross\-domain team

Experience with military logistics and supply chain management

Ability to multi\-task and be organized

Familiarity with Department of Defense acquisition

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
