Position Purpose

Join a mission-driven team at St. Joseph of the Pines, where your culinary talents contribute to the well-being and happiness of our residents. As a Cook, you will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals that support the health and satisfaction of those we serve in a welcoming, community-centered environment.

What You Will Do

+ Prepare meals in accordance with federal, state, and local standards as well as internal policies and procedures

+ Ensure meals are properly portioned, presented, and served in a timely manner

+ Expedite plates to ensure quality food service at all times

+ Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen and food prep areas

+ Collaborate with team members to meet dietary needs and enhance the dining experience for residents

Minimum Qualifications

+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in cooking or food preparation required

+ Culinary degree preferred; equivalent experience considered

+ Strong attention to detail and motivation to deliver high-quality food service

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
