    **Job Title:** AWS Architect

    **Location:** Columbus, OH ( **Hybrid** schedule onsite Tues - Thurs)

    **Pay Range:** $80-$85hr

    Candidates:** **US Citizens or GC Holders

    **Duration:** 6mo contract to hire

     

    As an AWS Architect, you will be part of the cloud engineering department supporting various development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative cloud solutions, which will align successfully with the organization.

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on AWS.

    + Architect and deploy microservices using **Docker** and **Kubernetes** (Amazon EKS).

    + Collaborate with development teams to build backend services in Kotlin.

    + Define and implement **CI/CD pipelines** for containerized applications.

    + Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 9+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.

    + Proven experience with **microservices architecture and container orchestration.**

    + Hands-on experience with **Amazon EKS, ECS, Fargate, and Docker/Kubernetes.**

    + Proficiency in Kotlin for backend development (Spring Boot or Ktor preferred).

    + Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
