Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Brea, California. In this role, you will support daily accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions. Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely invoicing and payment tracking.

• Perform accurate data entry for financial transactions and maintain organized records.

• Process invoices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Assist in preparing annual tax filings and supporting documentation.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data.

• Coordinate billing activities and resolve discrepancies with vendors or clients.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.

• Collaborate with team members to prepare financial statements and reports.

• Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify and correct errors.

• Provide assistance during tax audits and examinations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of invoice processing and billing procedures.

• Experience preparing corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively and resolve discrepancies with vendors or clients.

• Familiarity with financial reporting and statement preparation.

• Background in public accounting is preferred, but mixed public/private experience is also acceptable.
