Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead and oversee HR operations in a dynamic non-profit organization based in Lakewood, Ohio. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive HR experience, union expertise, and a commitment to fostering employee relations and organizational growth. Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.
• Collaborate with union representatives to ensure effective communication and resolution of labor-related matters.
• Lead hiring processes to attract top talent and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Implement and maintain HCM systems to streamline HR workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level HR staff, ensuring their development and growth.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations to protect the organization.
• Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the non-profit organization’s mission and values.
• Handle grant-related HR responsibilities, including staffing and reporting requirements.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity within the workplace.
• Leverage corporate HR expertise to adapt processes for the unique needs of a non-profit organization.
Requirements • Minimum of 15 years of experience in human resources management.
• Proven experience working with unions and handling labor relations.
• Familiarity with HR operations in non-profit organizations is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of HCM systems and their application in HR processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in benefits administration and compliance.
• Exceptional communication skills to engage with staff and external partners effectively.
• Proficiency in employee relations and organizational development.
• Experience with grant-related HR functions is a plus.
