Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Whittier, California. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in an onsite environment, enjoys working independently, and is eager to contribute to the efficiency of a well-structured organization. As part of a collaborative corporate team, you will manage essential accounts payable tasks while supporting broader company operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices with accuracy, ensuring all transactions comply with company policies.

• Manage check preparation and oversee the collection of necessary signatures for timely disbursement.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Enter data into accounting systems with precision, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

• Coordinate with remote accounts payable team members to align on processes and resolve issues.

• Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and other financial documents.

• Assist in improving accounts payable procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address and resolve payment-related inquiries.

• Support the corporate office with additional general accounting tasks as needed.

• Adapt to new tools and systems, with training provided where necessary. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently without direct supervision.

• Proficiency in processing invoices, managing check runs, and performing account reconciliations.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, with no degree required.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with both onsite and remote team members.

• Comfortable learning and adapting to new systems and processes.

• Reliable and flexible mindset, with a willingness to contribute to process improvements.

• Experience in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
