    Location (Hybrid): Austin, TX

    Responsibilities:

    + Lead the design and development of innovative software solutions using Spring Boot and microservices to meet business objectives.

    + Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality code and timely project delivery.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

    + Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

    + Develop and maintain scalable and efficient Java applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

    + Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment, adhering to industry standards.

    + Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to enhance code quality and maintainability.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, minimizing disruption to project timelines.

    + Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into development processes where appropriate.

    + Contribute to the continuous improvement of development methodologies and tools to enhance team productivity.

    + Ensure all software solutions align with the company’s strategic goals and support business growth.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for new product development and deliver innovative solutions that meet market demands.

    + Document technical specifications and project progress to ensure transparency and effective communication with stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    + 8–10+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.

    + Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+).

    + Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Frameworks, and JUnit.

    + Proficient in multithreading, SQL/NoSQL databases, Kafka, Shell scripting, REST APIs, and building distributed components.

    + Experience developing Java server applications in Unix environments.

    + Familiarity with software build tools such as Maven, Nexus, and Gradle.

    + Solid understanding of web technologies including Java, J2EE (EJBs, Servlets, JSP, Struts), application servers, portal applications, and XML standards.

    + Proven experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.

    + Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases (preferred).

    + Familiarity with AWS (preferred).

    + Knowledge of performance and profiling tools such as jProbe, JMeter, and YourKit (preferred).

    + Experience using GitHub for version control.

    + Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

    + Self-motivated and proactive.

    + Ability to work effectively in distributed teams and Agile-based projects.
