    Pay:$21-23 per hour

     

    What You'll Do

    About this role:

    The Tool Room Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and organizing the tools and equipment used in a manufacturing or production environment. They will work closely with production staff, engineers, and other technicians to ensure tools are in good working order, and they manage inventory and records related to tool usage.

    Responsibilities

    + Tool Maintenance and Repair: Performing preventative maintenance, minor and major repairs, and troubleshooting on tools and equipment, including stamping dies, jigs, fixtures, and shop equipment.

    + Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, issuing tools, and tracking tool usage.

    + Tool Setup and Operation: Setting up and operating various tools and machines, including CNC machines, manual lathes, grinders, and milling machines.

    + Quality Control: Inspecting tools and parts for quality, ensuring they meet specifications and standards.

    + Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of tool maintenance, repairs, and inventory.

    + Safety: Ensuring a safe work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.

    + Communication: Collaborating with other departments, such as production and engineering, to address tool-related issues.
