    Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is looking for Supply Clerks to work in Fort Stewart, Georgia. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

     

    Supply Clerk: Receives, inspects, inventories, loads, unloads, segregates, stores, issues, delivers, and turns-in Organizational/Direct Support and Installation supplies and equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Supply Clerk operates Unit or Direct Support Logistics Information Systems. Prepares all Unit/DS supply documents.

    + Supply Clerk maintains automated Supply System for accounting of Organizational/Direct Support and Installation supplies and equipment.

    + Coordinates supply activities, post transactions to organizational/direct support and installation property books and supporting transaction files.

    + Determines method of obtaining relief from responsibility for lost, damaged and destroyed supply items.

    + Must have basic knowledge of MS Office suite.

    + May operate forklifts.

    + May use powered hand tools.

    + Must be capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling very heavy parts and loads, up to 70 pounds.

    + Maintains tools and equipment and cleans work areas to maintain a safe work environment

    Qualifications

    + Must have GCSS-A Certification

    + Be able to work outside in inclement weather conditions when necessary.

    + Ensure that all tasks are performed safely and meet Government/Army standards.

    + Wearing safety items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) e.g. gloves, safety shoes, protective eyewear, hearing protection, and other items such as aprons or outerwear as appropriate.

    + Employee is required to maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license and applicable Government/Army license.

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent

    + Perform other duties as required to support the mission and contractual requirements.

    + Employee must be able to obtain Common Access Card within 30 days after start of employment.

    + Must be a US Citizen able to pass a background check and drug testing.

    + Must be able to stand, sit, bend, reach and walk for extended periods of time.

    Desired Qualifications

    + 5+ years of military experience in supply operations
