    Salary: $1462 / Week

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with moderate to severe disabilities in an in-person classroom setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and structured learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs

    + Provide direct instruction in academic, functional, and social-emotional skills

    + Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families

    + Utilize evidence-based strategies and assistive technology to support student learning

    + Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with IDEA and district policies

    + Create a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment

    Qualifications:

    + Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential – Moderate/Severe (or eligibility)

    + Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)

    + Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities

    + Strong classroom management and communication skills

    + Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
