About the Team

The engineering team works on the development and evolution of Zoom’s cloud-based phone services. Working with the PM team to execute product strategies and focusing on delivering scalable, reliable, and user-friendly communication solutions. By collaborating with PM, design, sales, and support teams, we ensure seamless integration within the broader Zoom platform, enhancing the telephony experience for users worldwide.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn roadmap vision into deliverables.

+ Designing and delivering customer-facing features.

+ Implementing cloud-based automation and deployment strategies.

+ Providing technical troubleshooting and customer support.

+ Analyzing and optimizing program performance.

+ Creating technical design documents and API documentation.

What we’re looking for

+ Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree(Computer Science or related major), with 3-5 years of software engineering experience.

+ Be a full-stack web application developer, with expertise in cloud infrastructure. Technologies (i.e. Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, AWS,NoSQL), JS frameworks (i.e. React, Angular), and HTML5 and CSS.

+ Have experience with database technologies such as Mysql , ES, AWS S3, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.

+ Have programming experience in Java and experience in Java open source frameworks such as Spring, Spring MVC, Spring boot, and microservice.

+ Have experience in cloud computing, application security, and familiar with secure development practices.

+ Have experience in building application platform solutions integrating with third party applications and services.

+ SMS development experience

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$87 600,00

Maximum:

$186 000,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
