    Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care.     The Occupational Therapy team’s committed professionals deliver a number of integrated work-related therapy, care and rehabilitation programs designed to build our patients’ confidence while helping them reach full potential in mobility, communication and daily living skills. Services include customized treatment programs, performance skills assessments and treatments, adaptive equipment recommendations and usage training and guidance to family members and caregivers.

     

    As the Occupational Therapist, you will help to bring valuable rehabilitative services and relief to patients suffering from work-related injuries. In this role, you will provide direct occupational therapy services and consultation across the full continuum of care. We are looking for someone sensitive and experienced, with excellent communication and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

    **Minimum Qualifications:** Current Hawai‘i Occupational Therapy certification. Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) Occupational Therapy certification.

    **Preferred Qualifications:** One (1) year general occupational therapy experience. Previous experience with Pediatric or Adult population.
