Job Overview
Fairview Range is hiring** **a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Acute Care team in our Med Surg Department in** **Hibbing, MN** **.
Our Acute Care unit treats medical, surgical, and pediatric patients. Remodeled in 2015, our unit boasts 28 single patient rooms each equipped with tele-med capabilities, and an adjacent 4-bed ICU. The LPN provides direct nursing care to patients as well as indirect care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN performs clerical duties, transcribes physician orders, performs unit maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
**Schedule:** This position will work 48-60 hours per two weeks. The shift length will be 12-hours on the Day shift. Weekends: As Needed

As an LPN, you are responsible for:
+ Participating in collaboration with RN staff in capturing data involved in total systems assessment, including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual data upon admission, as well as ongoing monitoring.
+ Demonstrating awareness of age-specific criteria in obtaining assessment data.
+ Identifying patient needs in collaboration with a registered nurse and incorporates them into an individualized plan of care.
Required Qualifications
+ Current Minnesota LPN licensure.
+ Current BLS certification or attends BLS class within three months of employment and maintains certification.
+ Current BCS or acquires within three months of employment and maintains certification.
