    Job Summary

    Novant Health Medical Group is looking for a conscientious, and compassionate Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider to join a team of 8 surgeons and 17 APP's that see patients in Charlotte, NC.

     

    This position will support 3 surgeons (Total Joint Hip/Knee Team) and provide clinical care for orthopedic patients in the ambulatory and acute setting.

     

    The ideal candidate is patient-centric, flexible, adaptable, dependable, and treats each member of the team whether clinical or non-clinical as a valued part of the team. Experience with Adult Reconstructive Orthopedic Surgery or other orthopedic OR experience preferred.

    Qualifications

    + Education: Graduate degree, required. Graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program.

    + Experience: One to three years of experience working in a physician practice setting Preferred.

    + Licensure/Certification:

    + Current PA license in appropriate state, required.

    + NCCPA Certification and current DEA registry, required.

    + Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to work with management team and physicians; demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
