    Position: Test Environment Management: Technical Project Manager/Process Engineer

     

    Length of Engagement: 6 months to start

     

    Hours/Week: 40 hours

     

    Pay Rate: 55/hr - 65/hr

     

    Description: Operational Improvements for Test Environment Managements for the future state of environment provisioning. As part of the TEM roadmap, we will be uplifting the experience within the test environments: 1) Framework Definition and Guidelines, 2) Process Improvements, 3) Controls Implementation 4) Communication and Transparency.

    Knowledge: Needs to understand (but not perform)

    + Database backups and restores

    + Application code management, merges, and deployments

    + Application configuration management

    + Application services / API architecture, including virtual services

    + Challenges of parallel development across multiple environments

    + Batch processing (purpose, roles, challenges, troubleshooting)

    + Test data generation (UI and API, data virtualization

    Technical Project Manager/Process Engineer

    + Application monitoring (availability and performance)

    + SDLC roles, responsibilities, and best practices

    Skills

    + Process analysis, engineering, and documentation

    + Evaluating resource requirements related to SLA management

    + Conflict resolution and issue management / escalation

    + Excellent summarization and presentation development skills
