Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Lean Coach to join a team of 5 at a large utility company here in Houston full-time. This individual will play a highly strategic role in enhancing business performance by helping leaders and business units improve their capabilities through lean management theories and techniques. The Lean Coach will drive operational excellence by providing one-on-one coaching to senior leaders, supporting weekly operating reviews, leading training sessions and workshops, and guiding the rollout of the lean operating system across all levels of the organization. Responsibilities include coaching leadership on visual management and problem-solving, facilitating change management activities, leading event-based improvements, and standardizing work to eliminate waste. This role requires strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders, deep understanding of lean tools and methodologies, and the ability to both coach and be coached. The ideal candidate will bring experience in transforming organizations to be more customer-centric and will mentor junior team members while managing multiple concurrent initiatives. Travel may be required up to 25%.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as Lean, Operations Research, Business, or Organizational Management with 5-8 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in lean methodologies, Hoshin, process improvement, project management, financial analytics and/or relevant experience in utility industry with track record of savings and strategic financial impact Indirect or direct leadership experience
MBA or other Masters
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience in gas or electric utility industry
Experience setting lean operational management systems
Coaching certifications null
