    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a System Administrator to be located in the Colorado Springs area. Operate, maintain, and manage Windows/Linux-based domain supporting a software development environment. Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Windows/Linux environment and is responsible for backup and recovery (to include disaster recovery) of system data. Primary Responsibilities. Ensure all data is being backed up per COOP and BCP. Ensure backup system is functioning correctly and periodically test the backup system by restoring files. Respond appropriately to any security or virus incident discovered in the system. Install, configure, monitor, manage and maintain all Windows/Linux based servers. Create and maintain Windows/Linux system administration processes and procedures. Install, configure, manage and maintain all Windows/Linux server based applications. Ensure all Windows/Linux based systems have the appropriate patches installed includes but is not limited to, security, applications and OS.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelors degree in STEM w/ 5 + years of experience

     

    Secret clearance or higher

     

    Security+ or equivalent

     

    Very strong Windows environment experience, including server setup, deployment, maintenance, and hardening.

     

    Experience with IBM Server Backup administration

     

    Experience within Linux environment and administration

     

    Understanding of configuration managed Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)

     

    Knowledge of applying containers (Docker) and use of container orchestration (Kubernetes)

     

    Experience with the following: Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), Multi-Factor Authentication implementation, OpenShift, OpenStack, VMware ESXI, QAS/VAS, Windows, Active Directory DevOps Experience
