Job Title: NetSuite Consultant

Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking a skilled and experienced NetSuite Consultant to lead ERP implementation, optimization, and support efforts for our clients. This role involves working directly with stakeholders to assess business requirements, configure NetSuite solutions, and drive the successful delivery of cloud-based ERP projects. The ideal candidate will have strong NetSuite functional knowledge, experience with system customization, and a track record of delivering scalable business solutions across finance, operations, and CRM.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementations, enhancements, and customizations

+ Configure core NetSuite modules including:

+ Financials (GL, AP, AR)

+ Order to Cash / Procure to Pay

+ Inventory and Supply Chain Management

+ CRM, Projects, and SuiteCommerce

+ Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, Multi-Book Accounting

+ Gather and analyze client requirements and translate them into NetSuite solutions

+ Create workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards tailored to business needs

+ Customize forms, fields, scripts, and workflows using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBuilder

+ Lead data migration efforts (CSV imports, SuiteTalk APIs, or 3rd-party ETL tools)

+ Provide go-live support, user training, and post-implementation assistance

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (accounting, IT, operations) to ensure system alignment

+ Stay current with NetSuite releases and industry best practices

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

+ 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in NetSuite consulting, administration, or ERP implementation

+ Proven experience configuring and customizing NetSuite modules

+ Experience with SuiteScript 1.0/2.0, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics

+ Strong knowledge of NetSuite financials, revenue recognition, and approval workflows

+ Understanding of GAAP principles, SOX compliance, and ERP best practices

+ Ability to write functional specs and collaborate with developers for custom solutions

+ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

+ Experience working in Agile or waterfall project environments

+ NetSuite SuiteFoundation or ERP Consultant Certification is a plus

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

+ Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, including multi-entity and multi-currency environments

+ Familiarity with integration tools (Dell Boomi, Celigo, Mulesoft, etc.)

+ Understanding of e-commerce integrations (Shopify, Amazon, Magento)

+ Project management experience (PMP, CSM, or equivalent)

+ Experience in industries such as SaaS, manufacturing, retail, or services
