    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Long Beach, California. This contract position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will excel in managing compliance requirements and fostering a positive workplace environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely compensation management.

    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans, to enhance employee satisfaction.

    • Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate necessary follow-ups. Employee Engagement

    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

    • Develop and implement hiring strategies to attract and retain top talent.

    • Handle employee relations issues by providing guidance and resolving conflicts effectively.

    • Utilize HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian for efficient data management and reporting.

    • Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.

    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to support employee development.

    • Monitor and improve HR processes to enhance overall efficiency.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in Human Resources management within the manufacturing or financial services industry.

    • Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and ATS, UKG, iSolved

    • Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, and workers' compensation processes.

    • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective employee engagement.

    • Ability to resolve conflicts and manage employee relations with professionalism.

    • Experience in implementing hiring strategies and onboarding processes.

    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
