Job Title: Interventional Technologist Department: Radiology Location: RRH Spine Center - floating to Batavia, Geneseo, and Rochester General Hospital as needed Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30a - 4:00p Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

SUMMARY:

A s an Interventional Technologist, your attention to detail and assistance with radiology procedures ensures diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients undergoing procedures .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Patient Care - Provide on-call coverage for radiography in all assigned areas, including angiography, interventional and digital subtraction angiography; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts and throughout the angiographic area; transport medications to procedure .

+ Documentation - Properly document exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts .

+ General Maintenance - Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basis .

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Graduation from accredited school of radiological technology or equivalent.

+ NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.

+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) or obtain certification within three months of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

+ Six months as of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

+ BLS Certification preferred.

+ Interventional Experience preferred.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work various software applications.

+ Exceptional customer service and communication skills .

AS: Radiologic Technology (Required)

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
