Job Title: Engineering Technician IIIJob Description
As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment, components, and parts. Your role will involve investigating issues related to process control, sub and full system evaluation, and instrumentation, while suggesting effective solutions. You will analyze and repair broken printed circuit boards (PCBs) and create documentation for the testing of PCB assemblies.
Responsibilities
+ Test and troubleshoot electronic equipment, components, and parts.
+ Investigate and resolve issues related to process control, sub and full system evaluation, and instrumentation.
+ Analyze and repair broken PCBs.
+ Create documentation for testing PCB assemblies.
+ Run thermal, vibration, and vacuum system tests as well as electronic test equipment.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, drafting, and design.
+ Minimum of 2 years of testing experience in mechanical/electronic settings.
+ Knowledge of AS9100 standards.
+ Experience with test equipment and thermal, vibration, and vacuum tests.
+ Strong skills in engineering, mechanical, blueprint reading, electronics, and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to analyze and repair broken PCBs.
+ Experience running thermal, vibration, and vacuum system tests as well as electronic test equipment.
Work Environment
This is a fast-paced environment with low-volume, high-mix telecom military devices used in naval applications. The team is based in Germany, and there is an option to go direct. There is also a high probability the team will be acquired by RocketLab and transition to their operations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
