A little about the position:

Job Summary

Ensure the successful production actives of a single shift. Manage the daily production related to KPI’s for singular shift. Support a strong employee culture through the reinforcement of Latham’s Core Values.

Some of What You Will Do:

+ Supervise operations to ensure positive labor efficiency and variance through proper headcount

+ Follow company safety policies and programs to promote a safety first culture throughout the facility

+ Maintain high level of quality throughout the manufacturing process

+ Follow training and cross training program and implement for production staff

+ Responsible for production meeting daily schedule to insure on time delivery with the least amount of overtime required

+ Oversee and verify each stage of the process is properly using the correct amount and type of material

+ Check production output and identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements to address the issues with employees

+ Submit reports on performance and progress to direct manager

+ Communicate job expectations, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees

+ Facilitate daily shift meetings

+ Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

+ Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; 2 year technical/associate degree preferred.

+ Minimum 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering related

+ Computer and keyboarding skills -Spreadsheets, Database and Word Processing

+ Experience with payroll systems is a plus

+ Ability to read blue prints

+ Must be able to work overtime when necessary

+ Good interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal

+ Lean Manufacturing or 5S experience

+ Good understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, employee relations

+ Regularly required to talk or hear, frequently required to stand; walk; bend; use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms, prolonged sitting, repetitive computer use, ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly

+ No travel required for this position

Some Important Information for you:

Position Title: Production Supervisor / Shift Lead

Employment Type: On-site

Status: Full-time

Salary Range: H50-H90 $25.61-$30.31 plus $1.00 on top for shift differential

Schedule: 7pm-7:30am Monday-Wednesday, Thursday 3:30pm-7:30pm

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
