    Duties include:

    + Active role in deconstructing electronic components

    + Translate hands on experience to find technological solutions to improve processes and procedures

    + Support development by designing fixtures, software, and/or non-traditional techniques

    + Make technical decisions based on skills and training in the use of test equipment and associated systems

    + Notify and discuss technical problems with engineering personnel, contractors, or other government representatives as necessary

    Minimum Requirements:

    + 2 year degree in Electronics Technology

    + Vocational/technical training beyond high school in electronics technology / engineering

    + Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

    + Hands-on experience with handling and testing small parts, such as microelectronics

    + Knowledge of electronic components and device operating characteristic

    + Understanding and utilization of laboratory safety practices, including chemical safety

    + Applied knowledge of geometry and algebra for physical applications

    + Strong written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

    + Ability to engage on a multidisciplinary team of technicians, scientists, and engineers

    + Ability to identify and support opportunities for process improvements through fixture design and integrating new techniques

    + Ability to pass and maintain a DoD Security Clearance (Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 4 year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology

    + Active Secret Clearance

    + Experience in laboratory environments, including operation of microscopes and other analytical equipment

    + Basic knowledge of microelectronic construction and materials

    + Basic knowledge of techniques for failure or material analysis of microelectronics

    + Working knowledge of micro controller programming
