Salary: $540 / Week

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking multiple BehaviorTechnicians for K-12 schools in Lodi and Stockton, CA. Behavior Technicianswork one-on-one with students who receive special education or relatedservices, have a 504 plan, or with students in a Special Education Classroom.

Some cases include:

+ Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

+ Pervasive Developmental Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (PDDNOS)

+ Childhood Disintegrative Disorder (CDD)

+ Cerebral Palsy

+ Down Syndrome

+ Various birth disorders

+ ADD/ADHD

+ Learning disabilities

+ Other

Schedule: Monday-Friday (5-6 hours a day betweenthe hours of 7:45am and 3:20pm)

+ Part-time options available

Pay: $18 an hour starting rate (varies based onexperience)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Follow the instructions of the BCBA/program supervisor

+ Provide behavior assistance/interventions to assigned clients

+ Provide behavior support services

+ Provide crisis intervention

+ Implement behavior plans

+ Provide administrative support to teachers

+ Monitor child development

+ Prepare educational materials

+ Collect and analyze data on student behavior and progress

+ Provide academic assistance

+ Assist with mobility and daily activities

+ Offer social support and help with social skills development

+ Perform other duties as assigned/necessary

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ High School diploma or equivalent required

+ Current CPR certification (we can help you sign up for a class)

+ Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required

+ TB test required (if you do not have one from within the last 90 days, we can set one up for you)
