    We are looking for a sharp professional that possesses these top 3 skills:

    + 2+ years of Supervisory/Managerial experience in Quality Control (preferably GMP Life Sciences Industry)

    + Hands on experience running a laboratory

    + Cross-functional relationship building

    **Pay:** $85k-$100k (depending on experience)

    **Schedule:** 1 st shift M-F w/ flexibility as needed

    **Type of Job:** Direct hire/permanent

    **Location** : (Onsite-near NW San Antonio)

    **QC Manager Daily Tasks** : What you will do:

    + Oversees the overall performance of the Quality Control Laboratory to ensure timely, accurate testing of materials and products, while maintaining compliance with all quality standards.

    + Provides leadership and direction for daily activities of Quality Control Laboratory staff

    + Plan and organize QC lab testing and inspections to align with production schedules.

    + Lead the team in resolving QC issues and non-conformances.

    + Coordinate issue resolution across departments to reduce customer impact.

    + Support root cause analysis and help implement corrective actions.

    + Make sure all raw materials, bulk products, and finished goods are tested according to regulatory, company, and customer requirements.

    + Oversee method validation and qualification activities.

    + Detect and report any non-conformances, deviations, or out-of-specification results.

    + Investigate issues and write exception reports using appropriate problem-solving tools.

    + Justify the need for new lab equipment, create purchase orders, and manage approvals and procurement.

    QC Manager Qualifications/Requirements:

    + B.S. in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, etc)

    + 2+ years of QC Supervisory/Managerial experience

    + GMP experience (Medical Device, pharmaceutical, Life Sciences)

    + ISO 13485, ISO 9001, 21 CFR knowledge
