    UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for an Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team in Des Moines, IA

    General:

    + Established and growing practice

    + Medical Directorship with dedicated Admin time

    + 3 Clinics in the metro area: Current providers: 3 Physicians and 3 APPs

    + Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well

    + Monday through Friday 8am -5pm

    + Additional details by request from group

    Responsibilities

    + Average patients/day: 18-22

    + No call, weekends, or holidays

    + Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

    + Common visits include: DOT physicals, pre-employment screenings, 411 physicals

    + Do NOT do disability exams

    + Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

    + Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

    Qualifications

    + MD or DO

    + Board Eligible or Board Certified in Occupational Medicine

    + Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

    + Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice

    + Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
