    The Mechanic III position will maintain equipment, systems and buildings within Meriter facilities and grounds in a safe and comfortable manner for our customers in compliance with standards created by the hospital and outside agencies governing the health care industry. Duties of an individual worker III may be in a specialized area consistent with experience and the needs of the facilities.

    Required Qualifications:

    + High school graduate with one year Post High School education in a mechanical field or equivalent training or portion in an apprenticeship program

    + 3 years' experience as a Mechanic 2, or maintenance-related service work

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + High school graduate with two years' formal education in a mechanical field.

    + 3-5 years health care related experience
