+ Join a dynamic and collaborative orthopedic team in a growing specialty line as an Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider (APP).

+ Highly motivated and skilled APP to support our dedicated orthopedic surgeons in providing exceptional, patient-centered care.

+ Work alongside experienced orthopedic surgeons and APPs serving a wide range of orthopedic specialties including sports medicine, foot and ankle, adult reconstructive, and total joint procedures.

+ Patient-focused team providing high-quality care in a dynamic inpatient setting, with flexibility to float to the outpatient clinic when needed.

Responsibilities

+ Full-Time, Day Shift

+ Primarily in patient-focused with flexibility to assist in outpatient clinic when needed

+ Call: 1:4, shared with physician

+ OR surgical first assist, inpatient rounding, post-operative manageme nt, and discharge planning

+ Conduct independent assessments and manage pre-/post-operative care

+ Interpret imaging and lab results; develop and coordinate follow-up treatment plans

+ Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary staff to ensure quality patient outcomes

+ Educate patients and families on orthopedic conditions, surgical recovery, and expectations

Qualifications

+ Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

+ Board Certified

+ 1–2 years of experience preferred in an inpatient or surgical specialty

+ Licensed (or eligible) in the state of Iowa

+ DEA and prescribing authority in Iowa

+ Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
