UnityPoint Health - Sioux City provides coordinated clinic, hospital, and home-based care for patients in Sioux City and the surrounding Siouxland area. St. Luke’s offers a full range of services and programs that includes a state-of-the-art surgical center, Siouxland’s premier birth center, 24/7 cardiovascular care, and Level III emergency department. In addition, UnityPoint Health - Sioux City is also home to St. Luke’s College which provides high-quality, health system-based education to individuals looking for careers in health care.

Responsibilities

+ Average of 80-100 RVUs per day; no nights or weekends

+ Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient

+ Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

+ Specialty skills: The ideal candidate will be comfortable in interpreting all aspects of General Radiology. Experience in MSK, Body and Neuro MRI and Cardiac CT would also be plus.

+ Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care

+ Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment

+ Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

+ MD or DO

+ Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Radiology

+ Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa/SD

+ Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice

+ Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

+ J-1 waiver sponsorship available
