    Responsibilities

    + Provide inpatient and emergency mental health services to assist people who are experiencing a mental health crisis.

    + Manages the overall psychiatric and medical care of the patient.

    + Assures follow-through of the treatment plan on all shifts.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    + Graduate of accredited nursing program.

    License(s)/Certification(s):

    + Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.

    + Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.

    + Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    + Must possess and maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training or obtain within 6 months from date of hire.
